Mercedes has completed the EQS range with two new versions. Mercedes EQS is available in no less than six versions. Two are new: Mercedes EQS 450 4Matic and Mercedes EQS 500 4Matic, both with all-wheel drive. These versions are available in selected markets.
Last summer the Mercedes EQS debuted with the EQS 450+ and EQS 580 4Matic versions, both equipped with the large battery with a net capacity of 107.8 kWh (120 kWh gross). In autumn 2021 at the Munich Mobility Show, the Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4Matic+ sports version equipped with two engines developing 658 HP and 950 Nm was presented.
In November 2021, Mercedes has introduced the base version: Mercedes EQS 350 with a “small” battery which has a net capacity of 90.6 kWh (100,0 kWh gross). The engine drive the rear axle and develops 292 HP and 565 Nm. The battery can be charged at DC stations with up to 170 kW from 10 to 80% in 33 minutes and from AC stations with 11 kW in 9 h 45m. The official WLTP range is 618 km. The EQS 350 starts from 97,806.10 euro.
Between the EQS 450+ and the powerful EQS 580 4Matic, two new versions with all-wheel drive was launched: Mercedes EQS 450 4Matic and Mercedes EQS 500 4Matic. Both feature all-wheel drive and a large battery with a net capacity of 107.8 kWh (120 kWh gross). The EQS 450 4Matic develops 360 HP and the 500 4Matic 449 HP, both with a WLTP range of 677 km.
In some markets, the Mercedes EQS 450 4Matic costs 118,270.01 euros and the Mercedes EQS 500 4Matic 127,010 euros, the latter being more than 10,000 euros cheaper than the EQS 580 34Matic.
The luxury electric sedan Mercedes EQS will start also on the US market in this year.
